Are your services completely confidential?
Yes. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer outside the company personally identifiable information that visitors' voluntarily provide in any registration or order form. The information you provide to us is only used to better understand our visitors' use of our service and to support related transactions made on the site.
Do I need a signed release form?
Yes, by law a Pre-Employment Background Check cannot be done until you have a completed release form from the applicant.
Do I need to fax you the release my applicant signed?
Generally speaking no. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act you must have your applicants express written permission to access any of their information. You must keep and maintain this signed document for review; from time to time we may request copies of the documents for audit purposes. You may fax it to us to process the order or you can place the order online and keep the release form on file in your office.
How long does it take?
Currently 90% of all Background Checks are returned to our customers in 24-48 hours. This excludes holidays and weekends. If your applicant has a clear record it should be returned very quickly. Additionally Credit Reports, Social Security Searches and DMV searches are all available instantly through our online system.
How can I receive my reports?
All results from us can be sent via e-mail directly to you. Or you may receive results by fax or online only.
Is it legal to do Background Checks?
Yes. Once you run a Background Check you are also assured that all peopleG2, Inc. procedures comply fully with applicable state and federal standards. We also provide solutions for all the legally required procedures for employers, such as providing applicants with copies of reports and notices of consumer rights.
What does it cost?
The cost of the background check varies based on number of searches you run per applicant. Additionally, volume discounts are available. Please call our office today for a price quote.
What's involved in setting up a screening program?
Each customer must complete a simple membership application. Additionally, peopleG2, Inc. provides the necessary release forms and solutions for Adverse Action letters. Although todays labor laws can be confusing, peopleG2 helps employers make it easy.
