Read MoreAs part of the 2019-2020 New York State Budget, the legislature has passed a fee increase that will affect organizations that are conducting criminal history searches in multiple jurisdictions. This new budget plan will increase the New York State Office of Court Administration criminal history search fee from $65 to $95 per search.
This increase will go into effect as soon as the Governor signs the budget, which is expected to happen sometime within the week of 4/15/19.
Below is a list of the jurisdictions that will be affected.
