Pre-Employment Drug Screening

Quick & Accurate Testing

Drug testing determines whether an individual has recently used specific prescription or illegal drugs by detecting the presence of those drugs in the individual’s body.

Sample Collected

A sample is collected from the candidate and run through an initial screen to identify the presence (positive result) or absence (negative result) of the targeted drugs. PeopleG2 works with nationwide lab networks to make sample collection easy. We can assist you in obtaining drug tests usually within five miles or less of any office.

Initial Screening

If the initial screen is positive, a second screen is run to confirm the results. Those results are reviewed by a Medical Review Officer.

Negative Results

Negative results are typically returned within 24 hours and positive results within 48 hours of testing. If the result is positive, the lab will contact the candidate to discuss special circumstances that might produce a “false positive,” such as legitimate medications or health conditions. The employer receives a final report upon completion of the interview.
